Volunteering in retail is a rewarding way to give back to a local cause while gaining valuable experience and meeting new people. Whether you volunteer in charity shops/our stores or give up your time at the Depot as a sorter, with our Online Sales team, assisting with shop deliveries and collections, supporting with admin or have a decorative eye to upcycle furniture, you'll be helping us generate the vital funds needed to continue providing our specialist care. As a volunteer at Garden House Hospice Care, you'll develop new skills in customer service, merchandising and teamwork, and simultaneously make a real difference to the lives of our patients, their families and carers living in North Hertfordshire and beyond.

We offer flexible volunteer opportunities, making it easy to get involved, whether you can spare a few hours a week or are looking for something more long-term. Volunteering in retail is available for young people from the age of 14 taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award, or 16+ in our shops. Join our team of dedicated volunteers today by applying to any of our current roles or registering for an upcoming Volunteer Information Session to find out more.
