Volunteer at the Hospice
As a volunteer at Garden House Hospice Care, you'll be making a real difference to the lives of our patients, their families and carers living in North Hertfordshire and beyond. Volunteering in the community is a rewarding way to give back to a local cause while meeting new people, building confidence and gaining new skills. You could volunteer outdoors in our beautiful gardens, greet visitors arriving at reception, develop your experience with our 'back office' teams or even directly support our patients, their families and carers in a clinical or non-clinical environment. Regardless of the role you choose, by volunteering you'll be making a difference to the lives of people living in North Hertfordshire and beyond.
We offer flexible volunteer opportunities, making it easy to get involved, whether you can spare a few hours a week or are looking for something more long-term. Volunteering at the Hospice is available for anyone from the age of 18 and you must have a valid DBS check. We also offer corporate volunteering days, and volunteering for young people age 14+ in retail. Join our team of dedicated volunteers today by applying to any of our current roles or registering for an upcoming Volunteer Information Session to find out more.
