Regular giving

Making a regular donation to Garden House Hospice Care helps us plan sensibly and sustainably for our future. You can give any amount to suit your budget and choose whether to give monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually.

At Garden House Hospice Care, our specialist doctors, nurses and clinicians deliver the personalised and compassionate care that people living with advancing illnesses need and deserve. We support their loved ones too. While we receive funding from the NHS, this contributes to less than 50% of the cost of our core clinical services. This year, we need to raise £2.7 million to provide our compassionate care and support. That's £7,435.62 every single day.

As we continue to fight for fairer hospice funding, a regular gift has never been more important. We believe every person matters, and knowing we have sustainable income secured from the generosity of our regular givers means we can plan sensibly for our future and care for more people affected by a life-limiting condition or advancing illness.

How much should I give?

No matter the size of your regular donation, you will make a difference! Even something as small as giving up the cost of one takeaway coffee each month could help. If 10% of people in North Hertfordshire were to save that money and regularly donate it to Garden House Hospice Care, we could guarantee around £402,000 a year.

Regular giving directly helps people who live in our local community from the moment they are told their illness cannot be cured. Please stand alongside us, and those we support, to help us continue to make this possible.
