In memory events
Our annual in memory events mean you can support the Hospice while remembering someone special.
Every year, we hold two events for you to remember your loved one(s), reflect on precious memories and celebrate their lives while supporting Garden House Hospice Care. Our Wildflowers campaign invites you to dedicate a colourful flower in our gardens and attend the Wildflower and Remembrance Afternoon in June when many will be in bloom. Lights of Life takes place in late November/early December, where hundreds of twinkling lights are switched on following our service.
The Wildflowers
Full of colour, our wildflowers are a haven for wildlife and give you the opportunity to honour the memory of someone special. It brings a soothing, sensory environment to our gardens for people of all ages to enjoy. We kindly ask for a minimum £5 donation per flower.
On Sunday 28th June, our Wildflower and Remembrance Afternoon will take place, supported by our Emotional and Psychological Support team. This includes readings, refreshments and activities for children.
Lights of Life
For a week in late November/early December, we will decorate our garden with hundreds of lights, each representing the life of someone much-loved. You can choose from four dedication areas within our grounds where your light(s) will shine, switched on at our Lights of Life Service which all are welcome to attend.
2026 dates for this year's Lights of Life in memory event will be announced soon. Please register your interest below and we'll make sure you're the first to know when you can book/dedicate.
