Volunteering in the community is a rewarding way to give back to a local cause while meeting new people, building confidence and gaining new skills. You could volunteer at local events to assist our Fundraising team, organise your own fundraisers with a group of like-minded people, or even dress as our Hospice mascot from time-to-time! Our community volunteering opportunities also include directly supporting local people who are lonely and/or social isolated through the Hospice's Compassionate Neighbours service. Either way, as a volunteer at Garden House Hospice Care, you'll be making a real difference to the lives of our patients, their families and carers living in North Hertfordshire and beyond.

We offer flexible volunteer opportunities, making it easy to get involved, whether you can spare a few hours a week or are looking for something more long-term. Volunteering in the community is available for anyone from the age of 18. We also offer corporate volunteering days, and volunteering for young people age 14+ in retail. Join our team of dedicated volunteers today by applying to any of our current roles or registering for an upcoming Volunteer Information Session to find out more.
