Ready to make a difference? Join our team of enthusiastic, motivated volunteers and help us create memorable events that are fun, safe and enjoyable for everyone involved. As an event volunteer you will directly contribute to the success of our fundraising efforts, ensuring we can continue to provide essential care and services to the local community.
How you can help
- We have a range of roles, which may differ per event, including:
- Car park attendant
- Course or route marshal
- Refreshments
- Stall holder
- Admin
- …and many more!
- All we ask is that you bring a positive attitude, helping to create a welcoming and successful atmosphere
- Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Commit to Garden House Hospice Care’s mission and values.

Training and support
- No mandatory training is required
- You will be supported at every event by members of staff and other volunteers who will offer direction and answer questions
- You will be entitled to receive free access to our Volunteer Assistance Programme, which offers confidential support and advice.
