Man with a Van is charged at an hourly rate. If you live outside of our catchment area, please still get in touch and we'll be happy to come to an agreement with you.
How it works
1. Call us on 01462 678076, detailing what you need the van for and for how long. Let us know your preferred dates and time for van-hire.
2. We will review your answers, taking into consideration how long we think the job will take, and schedule a time slot.
3. Our professional team will arrive during your confirmed time slot, collect the specified items carefully and efficiently, and take them to the second location as required.
4. Items you are getting rid of, where suitable for reuse, are sold in our stores. We will handle the recycling and disposal of items where necessary.
Do you charge for a man with a van?
Yes, we charge for this service at an hourly rate. This will depend on how long the van is needed for, which vehicle is required and your location. Waste charges may also be added to your quote if the recycling/disposing of items is required, however this will be discussed with you and agreed in advance.
Do I need to be present for the man with a van?
While it's preferable for you to be present to ensure all items are accurately removed and transported, we understand this may not be possible and can arrange them without your presence under certain circumstances. Please discuss this with our team in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
Where is my man with a van?
Our drivers will always strive to be with you within your scheduled time slot, but sometimes things are out of our control, such as traffic or a delay at a previous job. They will always try to give you a call if they are running late, and will do their best to make up time on their way to you minimise delays (while of course remaining safe!).
