Sales Assistant, Stevenage (Sundays only)
We’re looking for a Sales Assistant with a passion for pre-loved goods to support the team in The Oval, Stevenage!
This is an exciting time to be joining our retail team as we embark on ambitious plans to renovate our stores. By adding a little love to our pre-loved shops, we hope to not only increase vital income, but elevate the shopping experience for our community. Our Stevenage Oval shop was created with children in mind and is full to the brim with adorable, affordable fashion from 0-15 years. It stocks a range of high street must haves at half the price. This includes the latest toys and games, children's books, clothing for all ages and styles, smart school uniforms and baby equipment for the new parents in town.
What does the Sales Assistant role involve?
This is a chance to develop your experience in the retail trade, whilst supporting the growth of our charity retail stores. As a key team member, you’ll contribute to building sales through high quality customer service, gain valuable skills and experience to add to your CV and give back to your local community. On a typical day you will:
- Support the management team in the smooth running of the shop
- Drive sales and promote Gift Aid to reach maximum revenue potential
- Maintain a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shop
This is a part-time role of 7 hours on Sundays only. Candidates should be flexible as there may be the need to work in other shop locations as required.
