Retail Donations Centre Coordinator
We are looking to recruit a Retail Donation Centre Coordinator to work as part of our growing team at our Retail Donations Centre (The Depot) in Letchworth Garden City.
What does the Retail Donations Centre Coordinator role involve?
This is a new role where no two days are the same! In this role you will support the efficient and effective operation of the Garden House Hospice Retail Donation Centre by coordinating the logistics of all retail deliveries and collections, ensuring excellent communication with shops and customers, and maintaining a high standard of service and stock management in line with sales income targets for the hospice.
What skills will I need?
This role and would suit someone who has previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or coordination role. You’ll be able to work and communicate with people from all backgrounds and have a good understanding of health and safety processes, being confident in supporting volunteers with this. A full UK driving licence may be beneficial for occasional cover/support).
This is a part-time position covering 20 hours per week (5 x 4 hour shifts per week), including weekends on a rota basis. The role is currently offered on a 3m Fixed Term Contract.
