Why £22.00? £22.00 could pay for an hour of care in our Inpatient Unit for one patient. (This covers the cost of nursing and our doctors, as well as running costs like hot water and keeping the IPU clean).

What will I learn?

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

• To understand the different terminology when observing a patient and taking vital signs
• To be able to measure blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, Oxygen saturations, and temperature correctly and safely
• To document observations
• Show good communication skills and report findings to the nurse in charge.
