Sunset Sunset Starlight Walk – A walk to remember!
Sunday 11th September 2022
Our hugely popular 6.5 mile circular community evening walk is a great chance to get together and catch up with friends and family, whilst supporting your local hospice and hopefully having a bit of fun! Whether walking with loved ones, in memory of loved ones or perhaps both we hope everyone feels a sense of togetherness on the night.
There will be 'light' and 'sound' surprises along the route as the sun starts to set. At journey's end there will be a big welcome back from our hospice team when you collect your finishers medal. A complimentary glass of fizz and hot bite to eat also awaits as we invite you to relax before heading home.
So help us light up the night as the sun goes down –THINK BRIGHT! Fancy dress/glow sticks/silly attire is not compulsory but absolutely encouraged! As it will be dark for the latter part of the walk, a torch or headtorch is suggested.
And don’t miss the chance to get your face painted - available at the start for a small donation!

Sponsorship
Sunset Starlight Walk is a fundraising charity event, and your registration fee helps cover the cost of you taking part in the event. This year Garden House Hospice Care needs to raise £5.4 million to continue providing vital end of life care for local people and it is your sponsorship that will really make a difference.
Your support in raising sponsorship will help us to continue to care for patients and their families in our community.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact the fundraising team on 01462 679540 (option 3) or email us at events@ghhospicecare.org.uk
Online entries will close on Wednesday 7 Sept 2022.
See you on 11th September!
