Join 'Team Garden House' and run for Garden House Hospice Care as, for the second year running, we team up with the Hertfordshire Half Marathon & 10k as the official charity partner!

This means we need you and your friends, loved ones and colleagues to help us assemble a huge team of amazing runners by signing up to the Herts Half & 10k now. The popular, local, road-closed event starts and finishes in front of the iconic Knebworth House, with both the 10k course and half marathon taking participants around the beautiful surrounding rural roads.

Registration

Sign up now for just £17. As part of joining our team, you will receive:

• A bespoke tech t-shirt, created especially for the event
• Support and ideas from our team to help you reach your fundraising target
• A chance to join our online community page to speak with other runners
• Free refreshments/snacks on event day
• Post event massage from our team of sports therapists
• Garden House Hospice Care cheer squad on event day

After booking via our website, look out for an email from Run for Charity which details the final steps in finalising your registration.

Age restrictions

You must be 17 or older on event day to take part in the Half Marathon, or 15 or older to take part in the 10k.

Please note: Adults must book for anyone under 18 at the time of booking. Please choose the relevant ticket when registering and include your details first, then fill in the attendee details on the second screen.

Sponsorship

For this event, we ask each runner to pledge to raise a minimum of £199 in sponsorship. Here are some fundraising targets you could aim for and how each would help:

• £199 could pay for up to 5 home visits by our community nursing team
• £279 could pay for 12 hours of attentive care on our Inpatient Unit for one patient
• £638 could pay for our entire hospice services for one hour
• £980 could pay for a full day of activities from our Rehab and Wellbeing team
