Flawed Hero® Marathon 2027

We are delighted to be a chosen charity for the Flawed Hero® Marathon, taking place at midnight on Sunday 25th April. This local marathon starts at the Broadway Cinema in Letchworth, taking in streets and landmarks local to Garden House Hospice Care. Around 300 people from all walks of life are expected to take on the ultimate challenge of 26.2 miles, pushing themselves and proving their worth, all while helping us care for people in North Hertfordshire living with an advancing illness and their families.

The Flawed Hero® Marathon is about more than running - it's about movement. It's about standing up, showing up and recognising that you are capable of anything. This marathon is for those who want to move with meaning, to show up, regardless of pace, perfection, or pressure - all while raising money for Garden House Hospice Care.

Age restrictions

You must be 18 or older on event day to take part in the Flawed Hero® Marathon. Adults must book for anyone under 18 at the time of booking. Please include your details first when registering, then fill in the attendee details on the second screen.

Registration

The registration fee for this event is £23 per person.

Sponsorship

We are asking every runner to pledge to raise a minimum of £1,000 in sponsorship so we can continue providing specialist, compassionate care to people in our community. Whether you have experience running, are looking for a marathon for beginners, didn't get a London Marathon ballot place or simply want to support Garden House Hospice Care, this event is open to everyone.
