The tenth annual Stevenage Walking Festival kicks off on Saturday 4th May in aid of Garden House Hospice Care. This nine-day event contains walks for everyone, from shorter 3 mile routes for the whole family (including some dog-friendly walks) all the way up to a more challenging 12.5 miles.
How it works
Just choose your walk and turn up at the meeting place on time! Experienced leaders will guide you safely on the route.
All walks are free of charge but the event organisers invite you to make a donation to Garden House Hospice Care as their chosen charity at the end of your walk.
What to bring/wear
- Comfortable and supportive footwear
- Waterproof jacket
- Sun hat and sun cream
- At least one bottle of water
- Snacks
