Festive Family Day
Sunday 16th November (12-4pm)
The Cloisters, Letchworth
Join the Friends of Garden House Hospice (FOGHHs) for an afternoon of festive fun. With an elf trail, Santa’s grotto, children’s activities, craft stalls, a raffle and festive refreshments, there’s plenty going on to get everyone in the Christmas spirit early. Entry is free but donations are warmly welcomed on arrival and throughout the day.
Letchworth Christmas Lights Switch On
Saturday 22nd November (12-7pm)
Letchworth Town Centre
We can’t wait to take our place in the Light Parade and march through the heart of our community, collecting your generous donations ahead of the big switch on. The atmosphere is sure to be magical, with a range of festive food, fictional characters and fun activities taking to the high street during the day.
Letchworth City Chorus
Sunday 14th December (11.30am-12.15pm & 1-1.45pm)
King’s Cross Station
Have you got festivities planned with friends or family in London? Letchworth City Chorus will be stationed at King’s Cross for a few hours, performing your favourite Christmas classics on the concourse. If you stop to listen as you’re waiting for your platform or to make an interchange, please consider popping some change in their collection buckets as all money raised will be donated to Garden House.
Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour
Sunday 21st December (6-8pm)
Baldock, Letchworth & Hitchin
Get ready to wrap up warm and hit your local high street - for one night only, over 100 festive farm vehicles will hit the roads and bring the festive cheer to all a few days before Christmas. This wonderful event is organised by local farmers, with every penny raised in donations directly supporting our cause. At a time where we need our community to gather around us most, this is an event not to be missed.
