Christmas Treecycling

If after the joys of Christmas have passed you find yourself sitting and staring at your empty, rather sorrowful-looking tree thinking, "I should probably cut that up or chuck it in the dump," then STOP!

Why not allow Garden House Hospice Care to take the stress and strain off your hands by collecting it from your home instead? It's a simple, easy and environmentally-friendly way to get rid of your tree and also helps support your local hospice.

All we ask is for a donation towards our care and that you leave your tree in an easy-to-find location outside your property. So remove the hassle of disposing of your tree and have us recycle it for you! Your support will make a massive difference in helping us continue to provide specialist care for our patients and their families, especially at this time of year.

Donation amounts

Any amount you can give at this time is greatly appreciated. £10 is the minimum donation and we have included five price points as a suggestion:

  • £10 could pay for clean bedding and towels for all of our patients for one day
  • £16 could pay for petrol for four home visits by our community team
  • £23 could fund one hour of care on our Inpatient Unit for one patient
  • £59 could cover the cost of a counselling session from our Family Support team
  • £100 could pay for up to two activities led by our Rehab and Wellbeing team

Postcode restrictions

Please note we can only collect Christmas trees from postcodes SG1-9, SG15-18 and AL6.
