'Another successful Muddy Mayhem' fetches in over £25,000
Our annual 5km muddy fundraiser raised over £25,000 in donations and sponsorship. Muddy Mayhem took place on Sunday 23rd March at Woodhall Estate. More than 400 supporters waded through mud, clambered over obstacles and braved the rain in aid of Garden House Hospice Care.
The amount raised could fund all 15 of our Wellbeing Hubs for more than 12 weeks, including seated exercise sessions and refreshments. Each hub is attended by an average of 33 lonely and socially isolated people in North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, providing a welcoming space in the heart of the community.

Adam Brockett is Product & Events Lead at Garden House Hospice Care:
“Muddy Mayhem event never fails to disappoint. Even with the rain falling down toward the end of the day and throughout the Mini Mudder for 5-10 year olds after the main event, there was so much laughter and fun had by all of our ‘Muddy Warriors’. The new obstacles we introduced this year went down a treat, especially by our dedicated repeat runners!
“The determination, enthusiasm, and willingness shown by everyone to get muddy for a great cause means the world to us - and, most importantly, to the patients and families we support at Garden House Hospice Care.”
