Join 'Team Garden House' and run for Garden House Hospice Care as we team up with BurntHare Events for the Hitchin Triathlon.

We have limited places available at the Hitchin Triathlon which, with two distances and a separate route for children, is set to be an event suitable for all. All routes start at Hitchin Swimming Pool, followed by a countryside cycle and run around the park and town centre.

Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run

Nitro Triathlon: 200m swim, 12km cycle, 2.5km run

Mini (Kids) Triathlon: 100m swim, 2 mile cycle, 1 mile run

This event is great if you are a seasoned triathlete looking for your next challenge, or a beginner just getting started in the world of triathlons. Either way, you can take part while feeling good knowing you've supported a local charity at a local event!

Age restrictions

You must be 17 or older on event day to take part in the Sprint or Nitro Triathlon, and between 8 and 16 to take part in the Kids Triathlon.

Please note: Adults must book for anyone under 18 at the time of booking. Please choose the relevant ticket when registering and include your details first, then fill in the attendee details on the second screen.

Registration

The registration fee for this event is £33 per person for the Sprint or Nitro Triathlon, or £12 per child for the Kids Marathon. Adult prices includes a free 'Team Garden House' running vest or technical t-shirt - you can confirm your preference and size upon sign-up.

Sponsorship

We ask each triathlete to pledge to raise a minimum of £199 for Garden House Hospice Care. This amount could fund up to five visits to a patient's home by our community nursing team; each visit could range from 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.

We need you, your friends, families and colleagues to help assemble a team of amazing runners for the Hitchin Triathlon, helping Garden House Hospice Care continue to provide free palliative care in and around North Hertfordshire.
