The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong retail leader who thrives on balancing commercial success with meaningful community impact.

You’ll take full responsibility for the performance, standards, and people across your stores - ensuring they are vibrant, well-run, and consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll also play a key role in building and developing volunteer teams who sit at the heart of our retail operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving sales, profit, and Gift Aid performance across multiple stores
  • Leading, motivating, and developing paid staff and volunteers
  • Creating outstanding retail environments with strong visual merchandising
  • Building relationships within local communities to increase donations and support
  • Using sales data and insight to identify growth opportunities
  • Championing Gift Aid and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
  • Ensuring stores operate safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational values.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong commercial retail experience with genuine people leadership and community focus. You will likely bring:

  • Experience managing retail stores - ideally multi-site
  • A strong track record of delivering sales and KPI targets
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams and/or volunteers
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced and changing retail environment
  • Passion for charity retail and making a difference locally.

This role involves managing multiple store locations, so access to your own transport or strong transport links is essential
