About the role
You and your team will be responsible for driving and generating income through house clearances as well as managing all donated goods that come into our ‘all under one roof’ facility - The Depot - based in Letchworth. You will lead the team to support our 11 charity shops ensuring they are fully stocked with good quality items in order for them to reach their income targets.
About you
This is an exciting and varied role and would suit someone who has logistics, warehouse or charity shop experience. You will be used to supporting a diverse workforce to ensure that the team maximise on revenue potential and uphold the image of Garden House Hospice Care at all times. Excellent customer services skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels is essential and you should have a good knowledge of health and safety processes. A great work ethic, the ability to think on your feet and a sense of humour is also necessary!
This role requires weekend working, as we operate on a rolling rota over 7 days. You will need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and have the ability to adapt to the needs of our growing and changing business. You will also need a full, clear driving licence and be able and confident to drive a class c vehicle.
