Join us on Saturday 13^th September at our annual Sunset Starlight Walk, where every step walked is a step toward funding our specialist care. The 6.5 mile circular route starts and finishes at Letchworth Hall hotel, taking in acres of countryside and surrounding villages as the sun sets and the stars come out.

In addition to the sunset, there will be light and sound shows along the way, including our spectacular tunnel of lights. We encourage walkers to help light up the night by wearing glowsticks, but make sure to also bring some form of proper lighting such as a torch. Fancy dress is welcome, or you can order a bespoke Sunset Starlight Walk t-shirt from our friends at Kustom Clothing.

Sunset Starlight Walk is a 'walk to remember', whether you're walking to celebrate the lives of those no longer with us, make new memories… or perhaps a bit of both. We need to raise £10,542 a day in charitable income to provide our specialist care free of charge to the local community. Sunset Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk and we are hopeful that it will raise enough to fund our entire services for three days. Here are some targets you could aim for and what they might pay for:

• £102 could fund the travel costs for our Hospice at Home team for one day
• £267 could keep our Inpatient Unit running at full capacity for one hour
• £408 could cover the weekly cost of buying, repairing and replacing our equipment, including hoists, medical equipment and plumbing systems
• £902 could pay for a full day of activities from our Rehab and Wellbeing team.
