Nursing Team Leader

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our award winning team.  You will be passionate about palliative care, supporting and motivating the Nursing team on our 12 bed Inpatient Unit (IPU).

About Garden House Hospice

Following the successful launch of our innovative new Frailty Service earlier on this year, Garden House Hospice Care were announced as winners at this year’s Palliative and End of Life Care Awards in London.

The award celebrates exceptional teams who have made a real impact in improving the overall quality of life for individuals facing serious illness, demonstrating collaboration between different stakeholders; acute hospitals, community health professionals, care providers and hospices.

Our low patient to Nurse ratio allows us to provide the highest standards of individualised care to enhance the quality of life for our patients and their carers/families.

We offer continuation of Pension & Long Service for those joining from the NHS.

What does the Nursing Team Leader role involve?

You will support the Inpatient Unit Manager to ensure optimum care standards for patients and their families.  You will be a Registered Nurse with NMC Registration, supporting and overseeing nurses, AP’s, NA’s and HCA’s as well as student nurses to deliver direct and indirect care.  You will be compassionate with a good understanding of the needs of patients living with life limiting illness and their loved ones.
