This March and April, donations made by businesses and community groups will be worth double - kindly match funded by a generous, local individual. By reaching our campaign target, we will secure the remaining income needed to fund our services this financial year.
At the end of last year, we launched a crisis appeal in response to unprecedented financial pressures affecting hospices nationwide. Our community responded with extraordinary generosity, individuals, families, volunteers and supporters have already stepped forward and raised significant funds to help protect hospice care.
But sadly, it’s crunch time for the Hospice - with rising costs, stagnant NHS funding and a decline
in charitable giving, we are being forced to make cuts to our services at a time when the need for
our specialist care is soaring.
Despite the efforts of our community, we are still not quite where we need to be. That's why right now, we are calling on local businesses and organisations to each donate £2,400 with the aim of collectively reaching our target for this campaign of £120,000. Hospice care is about coming together at the time that matters most - which is exactly what we ask of you today.
