We are very excited to announce our brand new official mascot…the ‘We Care’ Bear.

Our Fundraising Team asked Primary Schools within Stevenage, North Herts, Royston and surrounding villages to design our first Hospice mascot. Thank you to everyone who took part… we are proud to announce the winner of the competition was Beth Jenkins from Norton St Nicholas School, Letchworth. Beth’s design was sent off to a designer and was made into our furry friend.
The VIB (very important bear) will represent the Hospice and appear at our events throughout the year. He will help us raise further awareness and help engage a younger audience at our fundraising events as we continue to raise over £3 million every year to run our services.

Do look out for our mascot at our events and within the community, he can’t wait to meet you all.
Beth's Mum, Ruth Jenkins commented: 'We are very proud of Beth. She is so pleased to have won the competition and it has given her such a confidence boost. It was great seeing all the St Nicholas children so excited to meet the Care Bear.'
