Welcome. Garden House Hospice Care is a local charity providing free, compassionate palliative care and support to patients and their families. Our services are available to people living in the communities of North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Supporting us
It will cost us £8.5m this year to provide our services free of charge. Every penny you can give will make a difference to people affected by a life-limiting illness or long-term condition in North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
Your donation
£22 could fund an hour of care on the Inpatient Unit for someone with frailty who has been transferred following a stay in hospital
£49 could keep our hospice clean and safe for one hour
£76 could fund a visit to a patient’s home by our community team (this could range from 30 minutes to 1½ hours)
£8 could pay for clean bedding and towels for all our patients, for one day
£22 could fund an hour of care on the Inpatient Unit for someone with frailty who has been transferred following a stay in hospital
£75 could pay for an activity from our Rehab and Wellbeing team, such as a one-to-one physiotherapy appointment
