Upcycling Assistant
Do you have a passion for breathing new life into old furniture? We are looking for a skilled Upcycling Assistant to join our team for 15 hours per week.
You will work hands-on with donated furniture, using your carpentry skills to repair, adapt, and creatively upcycle items for resale. This role is ideal for someone who loves craftsmanship, sustainability, and giving furniture a second chance.
What will I be doing?
- Repairing and restoring donated furniture to a high standard
- Adapting and upcycling pieces with creativity and care
- Ensuring workshop tools and equipment are used safely
- Supporting the team in maintaining a tidy, safe workspace
What skills will I need?
- A trained carpenter with good practical woodworking skills
- A genuine passion for upcycling, repairing, and adapting furniture
- Creative flair with an eye for design and detail
- Reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team
