We believe in living well to the end of your days

Welcome. Garden House Hospice Care is a local charity providing free, compassionate palliative care and support to patients and their families. Our services are available to people living in the communities of North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Supporting us

It costs us £7.8m a year to provide our services free of charge. Every penny you can give will make a difference to people affected by a life-limiting illness or long-term condition in North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Your donation

£22 would fund an hour of care on the Inpatient Unit for someone with frailty who has been transferred following a stay in hospital

£34 may cover an hour of our Admiral Nurse's work, supporting people with dementia at the end of their lives

£50 could fund a seated exercise session at our Wellbeing Hub, which is an important way for us to meet people who may benefit from our other services

£8 could pay for clean bedding and towels for all our patients, for one day

£11 could fund a freshly cooked meal for a patient on our Inpatient Unit
