Think you've got what it takes to complete 10k a day throughout the whole of February? Our brand new virtual challenge, Ready, Step, Go!, could be the perfect event for you walk, run or wheel your way to supporting Garden House Hospice Care in 2026.

You don't need to worry about your fitness level or ability - a 28-day walking challenge for charity is achievable for most. As a virtual event, you can get your steps in anytime, anywhere. Walking the dog, shopping, exploring on holiday, being on your feet at work or even chasing around after the kids all count!

Sponsorship & medals

We are asking everyone taking part in the step challenge to raise as much sponsorship as possible. Garden House Hospice Care recently announced a £750,000 funding shortfall for the year, so every pound raised and every step taken will make a huge difference, enabling us to support more local people now, and in the future.

If you manage to raise more than £102, which could cover the travel costs of our Community Team for one day, you'll receive a bespoke Ready, Step, Go! medal to mark your achievement.

Registration

It's free to sign up and there is no limit to how many people can take part. We just need to know the address of the lead booker as a minimum (for sending out medals) and the names and emails of everyone in the team to share your digital fundraising packs and instructions. For anyone under 18, please provide a parent/guardian's email address.
