Cleaner (20 hours p/w)
At Garden House Hospice Care we believe that putting our patients at the heart of everything we do starts by creating a happy and healthy place for our people. You’ll have more than just a job, you will be helping to make a real difference.
We are super proud of our Domestic Services team here at the Hospice. They work hard to deliver the cleanest and best environment for the patients within our care. The team achieved the national cleaning standard at a whopping 96%! This was part of our transformation programme to take us from ‘Good to Great’, and they've already smashed it.
We are recruiting a part-time cleaner to work at the Hospice for 20 hours per week. You will be required to work 5 x 4 hour shifts which include Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis. The hours of work will be between 7:30am-6pm, and applicants must be able to work a mix of shifts.
Previous experience of working within a caring environment may be helpful, although not essential, as training will be given as part of induction.
For more information or an informal conversation, please call Clare Balch on 07494 233627.
Closing date for applications: 27th February 2026. Please note that we are actively reviewing applications and interviews will be held on a rolling basis. The ad may close early if a successful candidate is found. Whilst we’d love to get back to everyone who applies to our roles, we will only be in touch if your application is successful, if you have not heard from us within 28 days, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
Garden House Hospice Care are proud to be disability confident and reasonable adjustments will be made for applicants with disabilities. We celebrate and embrace diversity and thus encourage applications from a variety of backgrounds, perspective, knowledge and skills. We can only accept applications from candidates with the Right to Work in the UK. Safeguarding is of paramount importance to us; all successful candidates are required to undergo a DBS check, regardless of role.
