Just under 200 guests gathered for an evening of glitz and glamour at the Garden House Hospice Care Spring Ball at Offley Place Country House Hotel on Saturday, 30th March.
The event which raised over £35,000 for the Hospice began in style with a drinks reception, sponsored by Raymond James Investment in the beautifully decorated ballroom gifted to the Hospice for the evening by owner Hamid Sabahipour.
Comedian and after-dinner speaker, Adgar Brown hosted the evening and entertainment was provided by harpist Plum Hewitt and Pink Champagne.
Garden House Hospice Care CEO, Sue Plummer, said:
“The Ball was an evening of celebration and remembrance of the patients who have passed through Garden House Hospice Care. There were smiles on everyones’ faces, but real empathy and emotion as everyone was there to support the Hospice.
“I would like to thank Offley Place Country House for providing such a stunning venue and all those who donated gifts for the auction or provided entertainment and the Balloon Room for the beautiful balloon table displays. Without support like this from local organisations, we couldn’t raise the money we did.”
Those who couldn’t attend the Ball may be interested in attending our Afternoon Tea at the House of Lords on July 10th.
