Clinical Service and Quality Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join Garden House Hospice Trading as a Clinical Service and Quality Manager for an exciting new business venture.

What does the Clinical Service and Quality Manager role involve?

As the CQC Registered Manager, you will lead the clinical and operational delivery of high-quality domiciliary and community-based care. You will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the development of a skilled and confident workforce.


Working closely with the Garden House Hospice Trading Team, you will promote best practice, strengthen governance processes, and provide assurance around care quality and service performance.


This role includes participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota.


  • Provide visible leadership and day-to-day management of the service
  • Ensure delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care in line with CQC and contractual requirements
  • Lead recruitment, induction and training compliance for the team
  • Line manage and support staff development through supervision, competency frameworks and personal development planning
  • Monitor, report and drive improvements in quality and performance indicators
  • Lead on incident reporting, investigation and shared learning
  • Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively across teams to support safe and responsive care delivery
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating Hospice values and professional leadership.


What skills does the Clinical Service and Quality Manager need?

  • You will be a Registered Nurse with post-registration experience
  • Experience delivering care within community or domiciliary services
  • Experience leading or supporting clinical teams
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, MCA and regulatory compliance requirements 
  • Be passionate about quality improvement and service development
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
